Thanks for the advice. I think we will look into a dog walker. And we will slowly add rooms as housebreaking progresses. Our winters are so harsh here that it was recommended that we train our Yorkie to go indoors on the potty pads, and in addition we live in on the fourth floor (soon to be fifth floor when we move) so outdoors is not a quick option when potty training unfortunately.
