Sometimes it can be very very very hard to do the right thing.

From everything I've learned about puppy mills and backyard breeders and the extra reading I've done here and other places, I know that if you buy from these people you are continuing to support the problem, NOT the solution.
However, when you see a puppy in that situation it is soooooooo hard not to want to "rescue" him.

And you feel horrible at first.
But it is the right thing to do. Just difficult.
Hubby recently asked me if we could buy a $75 yorkie/ chi mix and showed me these photos. The photos pretty much say it all don't they?

Pup is cute, but doesn't look healthy. The stuff in the back ground is scary and has backyard breeder or puppy mill written all over it, and she's planning to send this pup to new owners at 8 weeks.
HUGE red flags.....but it was so hard to say no, but I did.
Also, please don't point me in the direction of other puppies! We are absolutely not in the right place financially to take on another pet anyway.
