You said a schnauzer cut? From the ouctuea I think you just need to shave his head, leaving the eyebrows and beard. Very good job for your first time.
I trim my BF's cocker spaniel for him, he usually ends up looking like a blonde schnauzer because when I was younger, the first dog I learned to groom was the family miniature schnauzer.
That poor dog had every imaginable style, from a mohawk to a pony tail…Hehe.
