I would not pay anything upfront. I would offer to sign a contract to pay for all shipping cost once the dog arrives. But I have a feeling they would have already suckered someone else. If they are TRUE missionary workers...then... they would go for the contract.
This sound like a scam for sure. But that is JMHO
