Just because they are the fastest growing doesn't mean they are any good, sure the dogs "trace" back to AKC, but the puppies are not eligible to be registered with them, and that's what's important. APRI, was founded by commercial breeders, and that means puppy mills. Since the AKC has cracked down on breeders and kennel conditions, many commercial breeders had to leave, and they founded APRL, I am not saying that the puppies aren't purebred; I'm saying the parents are living in unspeakable conditions. Registries
Most puppy's sold at Pet stores are registered with APRI, that's why it the "fastest growing," and please everyone don't purchase your dog from a petstore or website, if people would stop buying dogs from poor breeders, we would put them out of business. We've got to stop "rescuing" puppies, and start rescuing their parents.
