Most people that fall out of good graces with AKC offer that registery. Some people don't even register their dogs which is fine but I at least would like to know I have a pure Yorkie if that is what I paid for. AKC requires DNA testing on some I think it's after a certain number of breedings and APRI ask for a picture.
Please stop spreading that lie about APRI. Get educated about them before you spout off that they will register anything. They are second only to AKC and are fast becoming the number one registry in the US no matter if you want to believe it or not. I will bet 99% of the dogs registered with them will trace back to AKC. They require a 3 generation pedigree to register any dog and it must have papers before they register not just a picture.
