CANCEL any credit cards with both their names on them and have her open a new bank account in her name only. Do not allow him access to anything since he sounds like a JERK and could potentially clean her out or charge up balances.

She needs a lawyer now!
Or he needs to refinance the loan in his own name. I had to do that when I divorced my husband a hundred years ago. I just went to my credit union and it wasn't a problem at all.
