Don't let him keep the car as she will be liable if he does not pay the loan or if he pays late! They need to sell the car and determine how to split any proceeds or if there is still a balance on the loan he needs to take out a small loan to cover the short. Otherwise he could ruin her credit!
CANCEL any credit cards with both their names on them and have her open a new bank account in her name only. Do not allow him access to anything since he sounds like a JERK and could potentially clean her out or charge up balances.
