They are definitely smart dogs. My yorkie will watch you like a hawk whenever you do something she finds interesting and then she tries her best to do it. For example, I brought her a tug-a-jug. She watched me put it together and place her treats inside. Afterwards, I left home for about two hours. When I returned, she had managed to unscrew the top, take the rope out of the jug, and of course eat all of the treats. I'm still trying to figure out how in the world she did it. She haven't got out of her excerise pen yet, but I know it's coming.
