Sorry to hear Brody is having pain with this. My Tinkerbelle has the same disease and had a FHO 1 1/2 yrs ago now. You'd never know there was anything done because her gait was normal and she could run like crazy. Just had to keep her from jumping which as you've already stated will be a challenge.
If you got your baby from a breeder please let them know because Brodies siblings could have this also and they certainly won't want to breed the parents again. Good luck little Brody!
