I've gone ahead and gotten a few referals for the surgery. I also picked up the xrays so I can take them with me. A friend is checking into her vet for us. Hopefully we can get this done soon and it ends up solving his problem. /crosses fingers
I wasn't sure if there'd be a cast. Thanks for the info. Unfort. for us, the jumping this is a problem. /sigh guess we'll have to break out the ol' x-pen again.
