I am so sorry to hear about your baby. I hope she gets better soon. It's true that the kennel cough vaccine is not 100% and actually can give side affects that include a runny nose and cough. The AKC papers you are thinking of are limited AKC although some breeders just hold the papers until proof of spay is done ALTHOUGH you should have that in writing according to AKC.
