 help with breeder
The breeder has some responsibility in all of this. Write up a very firm letter with all the facts, copy the vet papers, diagnosis etc..and send her a certified letter. Give her a deadline, also state that you need resolution and if not you will contact AKC- she can't "hold" your papers, breeders do, I know, but AKC doesn't go along with that. If her dogs are sick in her home, and you let AKC know, they will go out and inspect her. It seems she knew this puppy was ill before it left, or she wouldn't have told you to bring it back to her if something happened.
