I took Garrett to the vet last saturday, and during his exam, she asked me if I had him on Nutrical, I said no, and she said that maybe he should be. So I asked her if he was under weight, thin, or what? She said no, he was perfectly healthy, and in amazing condition, but that she recommends Nutrical to prevent hypoglycemia. Garrett has never had any episodes of hypoglycemia, he eats well, he's 5 1/2 months and weight 5lbs, and he's very active.
Should I still put him on Nutrical? I feed him top grade food [Fromm kibble plus Evanger's, Merrick and Fromm canned]. Every so often, he also gets broiled chicken or salmon, scrambled eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese etc. I think his diet is sufficient...am I wrong?
