I'm kind of confused, this breeder sold you the puppy while she had a feeling the puppy had pnemonia?

I don't know anything about the AKC insurance question that you asked, but I just wanted to say that I think you did the right thing by going to the animal hospital. If she were my dog, I would've done the same, even if it was a weekday afternoon and I knew the breeder was home! The breeder is not a vet, and doesn't have the devices that they do at the animal hospital. To me it wouldn't be worth taking her to the breeder, getting the breeders opinion, then taking her to the hospital, it would be hospital first, and call the breeder just to tell her what was going on. Especially the way you described her condition, definitly an emergency and when theres emergencies theres no time to waste! I hope your baby is feeling better and that all is going to be well with her!
