Genie I am so very sorry for you loss, we do have to learn to trust our gut instincts especially when it comes to our dogs and our kids. I am so very sorry that you lost 2 of the babies and that Lola had to have a c-section. It is heartbreaking, if you need any help with Lola caring for her puppy let us know, we have had some experience with new moms not taking to their babies.

I am happy to hear that Lola is doing ok, whenever we have expecting moms they become your first priority, healthy babies are the goal but moms come first...always. We do whatever we can for them!

Give Lola a big hug for us and take a deep breath...it will all be ok!

What is the reason that she is still at the vet clinic? Were there complications? We have never had one stay...once their temp was up and they were awake we took them home with babies. I would never want to leave my girl there, especially overnight, she could get constant care and supervision at home.
