First let me say, it was a wondeful thing you did by taking in a rescue and adopting rather then buying. I have five and all but one are rescues. I'm not sure what it is but one idea that comes to mind is colitis. My parents had an 8 yr. old collie they rescued and at one point he had what your girl has. They treated him for collitis. Until you can get her to the vet try just feeding her boiled chicken and rice. Elaine
