I was searching YT to find an explanation for Mavrick's piddle problem.
Night before last he was walking from the kitchen to the living room and there was a trail of pee where he walked. I first thought my son had dribbled from a glass, but it happened again the next morning on the way outside. Needless to say I went all to pieces thinking something is severely wrong with him. We have just adopted him from a rescue group and he is on special food for urinary health. I had no idea that a UTI would make him do this. I plan to take him to the vet in the morning. He does not seem to be in any discomfort. Wouldn't a UTI make him act sick?
I put a belly band on him, we purchased two prior to picking him up. His last owner surrendered him due to house training issues. I bet they punished him for this. He can't help it!! He acts like he has done something wrong and hides when you get a paper towel to clean it up. We are so in love with him. I don't want him to be sick!
