 Phoebe is not herself, I am so worried!!
She is vomiting pile and the chicken she ate yesterday. I took her temp and it is between 101.5 and 102.3. She will only drink water. I forced some nutical in her mouth last night, and that did not stay down. I called the vet who did the c-section/spay, and he told me to give her chicken broth and wait 24 hrs. and that if that does not help then she will need t be hospitalized and the babies bottle fed. Naturally his office is closed until Monday, so I would have to take her to the Emercency pet clinic that is open 24 hrs. Her stomach looks swollen to me, but no different from when I picked her up after the surgery. The only way I can get broth down her is to force it with a syringe, but if she just vomits that, then I am back to square one all over again.. What should I do? My gut feeling is to take her to the ER, but my friend wants me to wait and take her to her vet tomarrow. I am so worried. |
