 Stunned by the immense scope of
this tragedy. We have one of our offices in Baton Rouge and some of our people live in the areas affected. I got going this morning rallying our folks (co workers) to get a donation fund going and it is going great. We should have a substantial sum to send on to the Red Cross next week. Also took some funds that I have been saving for a vacation (not a lot, but a start) since I have not had one in 5 years, figured one more year without one won't kill me and dropped it off at Knotts Berry Farm, where they are collecting for the Red Cross. This is a time for us all to pitch in and help, California received lots of help for our earthquakes, NY with 911 and we need to give back what we have received. Prayers and love to all those in the devastated areas. |
