 Emergency c-section

Phoebe's labor started this am. Bag of water broje at 6:30, and she started pushing at 9 am. after 2 hrs. I called the vet and they gace her oxi sshot x 2, and said he would wait 1 hr and see what happened. He was in surgery, and I was waiting by phoebe, and she keep straining. I told the vet I want a c-section, and he finally started it at 1;00 pm. I went home to get things cleaned up for her, and they called and said everthing went well. but there was a large dead baby girl stuck in the birth canal, but she had 2 healthy baby boys. Now she is home and seems out of it. she will not lay down and des not seem interested in her babies. Is this from the meds, is this normal, I am getting worried. |
