Prices are coming down on Parti's. A few years ago, they were running 5-6+ thousand each, now the average price is in the $3,000 - 4,500 range (with some running more or less). I think it also depends on where you are buying your parti yorkies from. In general, areas in the middle of the country tend to run the least expensive, followed by east coast prices and the west coast seem to have the highest prices (but the same seems to hold true for traditional colors in those areas)?
When there were only a few Parti breeders, they had waiting lists of 1-2 years and were pretty much able to get the prices that they wanted. I guess, that's how supply and demand comes into play?
With this economy, prices will come down even more. I see it happening with standard colored yorkies in my area. The average prices in my area ran about $1000.00 - 1200.00 last year, I now see many more $600-700 AKC yorkies in the local paper and few yorkies listed above $1000.00.
