I use my pin, matt brush. I have a few differently ones. I have one that is rounder on the ends, one that is straight. I brush daily around the same time for the pack around tv time and they leap in my lap...my problem is who goes first, but to get to that point... Anytime they hold still for their grooming sessions they are treated with cheese...so they know if they sit steal and let me do what I want, whether it be clipping nails or cleaning ears...
If the move I say No and No treat. For some reason it works...
I say Quit if the behavior is not what I want or NO...they all watch the other one, it is amazing how quickly they learn that my tools dont really hurt them..
So I am excited to be able to walk up take a paw at any given minute and clip... it takes a little time...but you must be persistant and say "NO" when she is trying to eat your tool. That is my opinion someone else may have some other tips...but these work like a charm for me...
