I use to think it would be fun to have a litter of puppies running around, but after reading all the whelping threads there is so much more that goes into it then cute puppies running around...it is a full time job...at least during the time the female is going into labor and for weeks after the puppies are born... I find those threads so interesting to read and to see how much time, love and effort goes into having puppies....
I have four males all neutered and I did not see a difference in personality...my first one was alittle dominant when he was younger and I was told that the neuter might calm him down..well it did not change his behavior at all...he would still like to be in charge..but training helped with that not his neuter...
I also was nervous during each of their surgeries and still am when I have dentals done....
