This is all so sad. I feel so bad for the pit bulls that are so mistreated and raised to be fighters.
I can't agree with the banning of the entire breed. I think they could have passed severe laws for the owners as far as leash, muzzle, etc.
Dogs are dogs and any dog or breed can be aggressive at times. I agree with Babbie and what she wrote about them. I honestly don't know a whole lot about the breed, so I cannot comment on if they are born aggressive, or raised that way, etc.
I just think it is sad that these animals are treated so poorly by some and hated by so many others. I wish there was a good answer for them. I'm glad there are groups who want to rescue and help them.
