I have found that if you are calm and try to be helpful. most people will listen to what you have to say. When you go talk to your neighbor... ask if he has noticed any snakes around. Tell him that you just found one in your back yard and wanted him to know about it... so he could keep a look out for them. Show concern that you don't want him to be bitten either. Tell him how concerned you are about your puppies or children getting bitten by a poisonous snake. Tell him that you now how busy he has been, working on his trucks and then ask him if he needs any help in getting his grass cut down.
