I would recommend a Yorkie. I have two of them and they make wonderful lap dogs. They do however have alot of energy but when I sit down to relax they are right there with me. And they love cuddling up with me in bed every night. I have used a crate for them but it was only for several hours a day until someone was awake in my house. They seemed to do fine with it. Now that they are older I leave them out. As for being chewers I have always provided them something to chew on. They are stubborn about housebreaking so beware of that. Not all are hard to break but just beware in case they dont want to go outside to relieve themselves. |
