I have to agree about the Royal Canin, as I think it has corn in it. If you are already feeding Natural Balance roll (which you may have to stop) I would look into an Allergy formula by Natural Balance. Make sure all treats are pretty much grain/corn free. Next, I would not put anything on her skin, other than the Vet shampoo. Adding conditioner that sits on the skin leaving a residue could be adding to the problem and make sure to rinse the shampoo very, very, very well. Make sure to not add fabric softner to your washes and I would change detergent to the one that is free of dyes and frangrances, vacumming and dusting helps too.
Now for the benedryl. I have given 1/2 childrens chewable in the AM and PM - at one point my vet said to give 3x a day, that was when Roxy was at the worst part. But like Patti says, it works for some, but not for all, however, if it works and you can get her to relax with the itching and let that skin heal (which I have read takes 30 days for skin to rejuvinate) then you'll get her to a better point.
