I was actually thinking the same thing. My vote is for Texas - doesn't matter which city: Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Austin...I would do any of them.
To me, it hasn't been tooooo hot yet this year. I mean, yes we've had some hot days, but it doesn't REALLY start getting hot until July/August. SO I think that if we had it early June or even in May, Texas would be fine heat-wise. And like Shana said, we usually have a great turnout when we do our local meetups. At the last one, we had around 30 people, I think, and even more Yorkies! And some of the people drove an hour or more to get to the park. So I think there'd be a great turnout.
