No size doesn't matter!
And, just to try and help you out some, my little Stedman stopped growing at around 6 months of age - after that, I think he only filled out some. All babies are different and some grow for longer amounts of time than others, but your baby could possibly be pretty much (or almost anyway) done growing
They CAN grow for longer....it really all just depends on the baby
