No one is better than anyone or thier babies they just think they are. Thank you for your post so tired of being picked on just because I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. Sorry if I that mad anyone mad hope not, I breed for the love of the breed and my Babies mean more to me than anything including that $$ bill. Thanks Denise |
Maybe you just havent met the right people yet!! Please dont lump all of us breeder/exhibitors into the same broad statement you made. I have been there done that with being snubbed and hurt feelings. But I have also met the most wonderful, helpful people. Sometimes you just have to have rhino hide to be envolved in showing!!LOL Just remember that these breeder/exhibitors are not just going to roll the red carpet out for you. You need to earn their trust first before you will find a mentor. I think that buying a show potential puppy from a reputable breeder/exhibitor and showing it is a great way to learn and have a wonderful dog to that you can improve your lines with. There is nothing wrong with that and its alot of fun!! And by the way, most of the breeder/exhibitors were not born with a silver spoon either.
