Well, I know everyone realizes this so I'll just say it to be redundant.

The sun poses as much of a problem for our pets' eyes as it does for our own. They are vulnerable to the same eye health issues as we are when it comes to sun exposure. And I don't know if your dogs stare right at the sun, but I see Max doing it sometimes when we're in the car. That can't be good for him. I think they look cute (and kinda funny) but my real reason for using them is for their eyes' sake. I want his eyesight to last as long as he does if possible.

We also have horrendous wind/sand storms that come up here in the desert, and if he's gotta go, he's gotta go....I don't want his corneas getting abraded by the blowing sand.
