I called our vet and she told me the same thing, also said that, for some reason, this year is been a problem, all over US, with fleas, but even worse with ticks
I thought about keeping him inside, but he needs to walk in order to do #2, so I've been putting some Rosemary oil on his legs, and stomach before heading out the door, and once we get back, wipe him with a damp towel and start to check him, poor baby, I'm driving crazy, but it 'is the only way to get this under control.
