You might live in Canada if:

-Your local Dairy Queen is closed from September through May.. (we have a DQ in the Soo that is closed in the winter!)
-Someone in the hardware stores offers you assistance, and they don't work there
-If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time
-If you have had a lengthy telephone conversation with someone who dialed the wrong number (VERY true of small towns!)
-If you measure distance in hours
-If you know several people who have hit a deer more than once.
-If you have switched from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day and back again (just did this last week!)
-If you can drive 90kms/hr through two feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching
-You install secruit lights on your house and garage, but leave both unlocked
-You carry jumper cables in your car and your wife knows how to use them
-you design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit (*sigh* I could never be what i wanted to be because it was too cold)
-Driving is better in the winter beacuse the potholes are filled with snow
- If you know all 4 seasons : almost winter, winter, still winter and raod construction
-You have more miles on your snow blower than your car
OMG! I've read this exact email but for New England! I am a New Englander and this is all TRUE for us as well!

There is this funny commercial on the radio from Columbo yogurt (which is in Massachusetts) about wearing shorts and a parkah (parker) on the same day. Its called a shakrah!
