I use Frontline Plus and Lexie (who is the one of my three who RARELY goes outside) has had 3 ticks!!! We got them off of her quickly and she healed fine. My vet said it's an awful year for ticks and there's not much else we can do but use the Frontline and pull them out as soon as we find them and check our dogs over every time we come inside. I'm just confused because my other yorkie and our golden haven't had one! I've also found 2 fleas on my yorkies but no more... I've searched and searched with a flea comb and given a bath in Dawn, but only 2. That's a good thing. The vet said they probably picked up a couple from the groomer. Good luck to everyone with this year's tick problem!
