I feel like a complete idiot, but I had NO intentions of having puppies in the first place and plan on getting Quinn spayed BEFORE it could happen again.

Little background: Quinn had 4 puppies on 6/8. They were unplanned, and we are getting her spayed ASAP.

But now she is swollen and there is slight bloody discharge! Just like last time!

Is it possible for her to go in to heat this fast? Now I am afraid she has some sort of infection- she threw up her food a couple of times BUT she did that when she went in to heat last time too. Its been approx. 11 1/2 weeks since she came in to heat last, counting her time preg.

She is going to the vet tomorrow. Our reg vet is out of town on vacation, but I guess she will just have to see someone else.

If she is in heat, will this mess with nursing her puppies? or anything?
