If you switch to a better quality kibble, like the grain free kibble such as Innova EVO, Orijen, Solid Gold Barking at the Moon, Canadae, Wellness; or feed Nature's Variety raw, you will find that they will poop much less. You can feed raw one meal and feed kibble at another. You definitely gotta get the corn out of them. Mine won't eat anything but Natures Variety raw and if their little medallions don't seem to satisfy them I give them a little grain free after they eat the raw. I have just learned that the venison and lamb keeps them from scratching like beef and chicken do. dogfoodanalysis.com has a kibble rating. It would help you to read the reviews and ratings before you go looking for the dog food. You won't find the grain free's at your local grocery store. Hopefully you live in a city that is large enough to supply you with a good selection to choose from. Good luck, and welcome to YT. You won't believe it here, it's wonderful. |
