Honestly, I'm not sure if it's a man or woman issue (I've had HORRIBLE female drs), but I will say I always feel rushed at the drs office.

I try to play an active part in my health and at this time have a few chronic issues I'm on medication for that just sprung up over the last few years... so when I try to discuss medications, risks, what I can do -- I get rushed out the door, or told "not to be concerned with it".

I've left many times in tears because I just felt I wasn't heard. I've switched drs a few times, but still haven't found a general practitioner I really feel listens to me. It's something I truly wish I could find - a caring, concerned, patient physician.
