This is what the internet says to do (which I probably will try) but because the piece isn't torn all the way off, I'm concerned it will rip the rest of the way. I guess there wouldn't be much of a chance for that if it is bandaged.
My concern is that it will close up and heal with infection underneath (which evidently can happen).
Thanks for the advice.
I will probably do that in the morning while I debate whether or not to go to the vet.
Any idea how to banaged it?
