I was messing with Ellie's feet earlier and noticed that the pad under one of her toes on her back food is torn. The tear is probably more than 1/2 centimeter but the pad didn't come off. It is just setting on there and I can move this piece and it hangs. It might be almost between her toes but it is definately padding, not skin. I see no blisters or cuts. It really doesn't seem too painful, but then how can it not be?
Anyone ever deal with this and what did you do?
The internet says do this and that and if it doesn't heal soon, see a vet, but I don't want it to get infected or Ellie to be in pain.
She will see the vet in a day or two if need be.
