I had my baby spayed 4mths ago and was a nervous wreck before/during/after the procedure....she was 11 mths old at the time and 5.5 lbs.......everything went quite well and the folks here on YT were more than supportive.......I brought my baby home the same night and although she was extremely groggy she did fine....all she wanted to do was just sleep....she had staples put in as my vet felt that they were more sturdier than regular stitches as she does like to jump alot....She came home with a collar, but I also had a couple onesies for her to wear in which I cut out a circle for her tail so that she could do her business....She has always been on a regular schedule so in the morning/evening I would just unsnap the onesies for her to go potty. She was a real trooper and came through with flying colors....Now a few months later you'd never know it was even done....Sending you well wishes and good luck for you baby....let us know how it all goes...
