I have 1 yorkie.a 5 yr old male not neutered. I started the research to get him a companion. Most people told me to get a female to prevent a marking competition with 2 males. I was also warned of dominance issues with males. I didn't get a second yorkie because our house burned down. When we get our house rebuilt I will reconsider a companion. I feel they do better with a buddy. Romeo does frequently visit my mother that has 2 yorkies so he is well socialized.
