 switched to Canidae
I am feeding Canidae now (Chicken and rice formula). My Desiree is very sensitive and changed to it easily. I was feeding Prairie chick n rice and they added a new manufacturing plant and the formula wasn't supposed to change but something did. I soak the kibble in hot water and wait for it to swell (started when she had dental work and she holds out for it that way now) but it stopped swelling and became a sticky mess. I asked the store owner that originally recommended Prairie and she had the same problem and switched to Canidae. I was having problems with Dezi and diarrhea at the time because of the change in Prairie so I changed her over with no gradual introduction. I never do that because she's so sensitive. She never had a problem switching to it and I have used it ever since. |
