We adopted Daisy from a nice family who couldn't keep her and I know it will forever effect her. She's very attached to us, but so scared that I'll leave her. It makes it hard to even leave her at the groomers. I know she's worried the whole time I'm gone.

i have heard that dogs LIVE IN THE MOMENT and do not grieve or miss their old owners after a few days.. maybe i am wrong.. it could be that you are worried and passing that fear / anxiety to her.. i think they know how we feel, and they react to us.. she probably loves you so much
because you love her so much...... they are so dependent on us.. quite a responsibility..
