If that is what you really want to do.. I'd say go for it! A few of us got together and started a Yorkie Rescue here in Oklahoma. We didn't have any dogs for weeks and right now we have 5.. possibly 3 more coming this weekend/early next week! I think Yorkies are such a popular breed that there will always be some to rescue. It's tough and it takes a lot of time and dedication but let me tell you.. it is SO rewarding.
