I tried the Bissell Pet odor and stain remover carpet shampoo. This stuff is great. It gets out the pee and smells great. If the pee is deep down in the pad, you will need to use Nature's miracle first, saturate the area. Then shampoo several times. In between, sprinkle with baking soda and cornstarch. Once the top cornstarch has dried, vacuum it up. Repeat the process until the pee is gone. This method actually got out the pee (and smell) that my cat deposited on my stairwell landing! I had been using the Rug Doctor shampoo, it did nothing in comparison to the Bissell. Just wanted to share a good find.
