In my opinion, an animal should NEVER be left alone after surgery.
It can be dangerous.
Too much can go wrong when they have all those drugs in their system and a new incision.
If it were me, I'd insist on taking her home (and watching her VERY closely ready to go to an er vet if necessary) and if they won't let you, I'd get it done somewhere else. Or you can transfer her to a 24 hour er after surgery that day for further observation.
