Anyway, I think I would pursue something for sure. That baby could have bled to death.......god forbid, had she have had to leave him alone right away after the grooming, and he was left to bleed........
Bad bad bad judgement call on the groomer. Accidents happen, of course.......but you HAVE to report them!!! Not reporting it is the problem, not the accident. So as a result, I think whatever consequences there are to face, they should face. A vet bill- yes! N/C for the hacking session (of course!) They originally took payment....good god! And something written to whatever BBB you have in your area (not sure how it works in the states)......it has to be reported. Never go back. Never recommend them. And hope that no other baby suffers or has suffered without being told of the injury.
