I'm going to Petco tomorrow to get a clicker, so I'll get a kong and a t-shirt for her. She doesn't have a bed cuz the whole apartment is hers. She lets me live here and she lets me share the big bed with her. I'll make a cozy spot in the closet, put the shirt on her and give her frozen kong.
I never make a big deal out of the noise, I just wish she weren't so terrified. Thanks for the tips folks. If anyone else has suggestions, please let me know.
