The secret to me is to whip the tahini first. It makes the hummus fluffy. I make mine in the food processor but my daughter uses the stick blender. Either way, here is mine:
1/3 c tahini
1/3 c lemon juice
Whip together until really light and fluffy. Add a ton of garlic, sesame oil, some salt and a can of chic peas (rinsed and drained) and blend together. Add the chic peas slowly, you might not use them all. I like a lot of sesame oil but it is optional.
